My name is Simone, and I am a Pluralistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, working with adults and young people aged 11+.
I work with a wide range of presenting issues, including ADHD, anxiety, autism, abuse, unhealthy or abusive relationships, bereavement and loss, body image, depression, domestic violence, LGBTQ+, narcissistic abuse, self-esteem difficulties, personality disorders, PTSD, self-harm, sexual abuse, suicidal ideation, trauma, and more. I am a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and adhere to their ethical framework.
I have experience supporting both vulnerable adults and children, and my approach is grounded in compassion, understanding, and the belief that meaningful change is always possible, where it is desired.
Therapy first entered my life during a time when I was struggling myself. Having a non-judgmental space to talk through my experiences helped me find my confidence, happiness and sense of self. I was also working in education, where I saw first-hand how limited support there was for young people. This fuelled my passion to help others in the way I had been helped—to offer a space where people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Also struggling and being diagnosed later in life with AuDHD, I ensure my practice is neuroaffirming.
My goal is to walk alongside you, at your pace, as you navigate your challenges and discover the tools and power that already exist within you.

I offer short and long-term individual talking therapy for adults and young people, aged 11+. At present, I work online only, with plans to offer in person, and walk-and-talk sessions in the near future.
My practice is grounded in compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach. I work at relational depth, building meaningful therapeutic relationships that allow clients to feel seen, supported, and empowered. My aim is to help you explore your experiences, heal from challenges, and rediscover your sense of self, happiness, and confidence.
I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation before we begin working together. This is an opportunity for you to share what brought you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether I feel like the right therapist for you. There is absolutely no obligation to continue if it doesn’t feel comfortable for you.
The therapy journey begins with a slightly longer assessment session, where I aim to understand what brings you to therapy, your experiences and the goals you hope to work towards. Following this, sessions last 50-minutes and provide a safe, dedicated space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Every 6-8 weeks, we will review the progress to ensure the work continues to be meaningful and supportive.
I am a Pluralistic Counsellor, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor the work to your unique needs. This may involve exploring past and present patterns, using grounding techniques or resources, and working creatively—particularly when supporting young people—to help uncover and understand unconscious thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
My practice is non-judgemental, compassionate, and neuroaffirming, and I strive to create a space where every client feels safe, respected, and understood.
